Fooling Today, Candidate Lee Seaton announced a bold leap in his campaign for Supervisor in the Fourth District of Calaveras County. Seaton said that to save citizens the expense of an election, he would invite his opponents to enter a champion in the Jumping Frog contests this year. The winning frog's sponsor would be declared the celebrated jumping supervisor of District Fourth. "Not only would it draw attendance to the events, but voters would know that their supervisor would have great legs," stated Seaton. Seaton further stated that his frog would be the greenest entrant, and unlike all the human candidates, would be born in the District. Lee Seaton is no stranger to unusual approaches to public office having lost to Dorian Faught in a coin toss in his first run for the City Council. Seaton, who has been seen hopping from door to door all over the District, indicated that this could really jump start voter interest in local races.
