Interviews

Today, I was interviewed by Mike Taylor for a "Meet the Candidate" series to be aired by Calaveras County Television in April. You should be able to see it on cable channel 7 starting April 11. The times vary each day, starting on Friday at 6:30pm, then Saturday at 2pm, Sunday at 4:30pm, Monday at 1:30pm, Tuesday at 11am, Wednesday at 5:30pm, and finally on Thursday at 8pm. Other candidates will also appear in April and May.

Mike is the Editor of the Lodestar section of the Calaveras Enterprise. The interview was actually fun. I think Mike asked the kinds of questions that most of us have about candidates. Questions like "what the most important challenge facing Calaveras County now?", and "what qualifies you for the job of Supervisor?". I really liked the question about what would you do if you were king of Calaveras for a day.

Of course, the media plays an important part informing us about government and politics in general. But I'll be glad to be back on the streets tomorrow talking to people directly.
